WouldBuild started as a personal tool to stop losing track of lumber offcuts and half-used boxes of screws. It grew into a full project-planning co-pilot -- inventory, AI-generated build plans, cut optimization, and a shopping list that actually knows what you're low on.
WouldBuild started with a drawer of half-used screws, a few scrap pieces of wood, and a power drill. Not much of an inventory -- but enough to build something, if you actually knew what was there. That's the whole idea: stop guessing what's on the shelf, and start building with it.
What began as a way to track scraps grew into a bigger idea: the workshop of the future isn't split into "woodworking" and "3D printing." It's one bench, where an offcut becomes a jig, a printed bracket becomes the fix, and nothing gets bought twice.
WouldBuild is built for that kind of tinkerer -- the ones who'd rather build with what's already there.
